Providence,RI : Motorcyclist died after being hit by car on April, saturday 29th 2017

Police have identified a motorcyclist who they say was killed when a vehicle hit and dragged him multiple blocks before fleeing the scene in Providence.

Police say 18-year-old Christopher Lucero was riding a motorcycle in the city's Olneyville neighborhood around 8:30 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a van.

Lucero died of his injuries. WJAR-TV reports that police say officers are searching for a Dodge minivan.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
