Milwaukee police said a pedestrian was struck and killed on the city's northwest side.

Family members tell WISN 12 News that 61-year-old Aden Durow was a Somali immigrant who was headed to work at the Goodwill store on 91st Street.
Goodwill officials said Durow was a 10-year employee of the store and was beloved by family and co-workers.
"He is very well respected. He has been a wonderful employee from our perspective for sure, and he has family that works in the laundry, so we're all family, and we're very devastated by this," said Cheryl Lightholder of Goodwill Industries.
Lt. Mark Stanmeyer with Milwaukee police said the crash happened around 5:40 a.m. Witnesses said an older-model blue minivan struck the man, stopped for a brief time, then left the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed the car was found, but are still looking for the driver.
