Newnan ,GA: Man critically injured in motorcycle accident on November, Saturday 4th 2017

A 55-year-old Coweta man was critically injured Saturday in a car-motorcycle accident on Highway 34 and Bruce Jackson Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The man, whose name was not released, was traveling eastbound on Highway 34 when the driver of a Chevrolet 2500 truck was stopped at the intersection and pulled out into traffic, which caused the motorcyclist to strike the driver’s side door of the truck, according to Trooper Bryce King.
The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. No other injuries were reported.

The motorcyclist was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center and was last listed in critical condition, according to King.

Charges against the driver of the truck are pending further investigation, King said.
