LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 dead after rollover crash near Lake Mead on Friday, March 17th 2017

One person has died after a rollover crash near Lake Mead.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area spokeswoman Christie Vanover says the crash was reported Friday evening near Nelson's Landing. When rangers arrived on the scene, the person was pronounced dead.

The Clark County coroner will identify the person who died once family has been notified.

Nelson's Landing is a popular cliff-diving spot, though Vanover says the park discourages the activity.
