Shambaugh, IA : Joanna Goudie, 52, died in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 71 in Page County on Monday, Oct 5, 2015

A Clarinda woman was killed in a Monday evening crash in Page County.
Joanna Goudie, 52, of Clarinda died in a two-vehicle accident at bout 5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and 265th Street in Shambaugh.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Goudie was headed westbound on 265th Street, when her vehicle entered the highway intersection.

There, she was struck by a southbound Dodge pickup driven by Toby D. Holloman, 50, of Soloman, Kansas.
Goudie was pronounced dead at the scene, and Holloman was taken by Clarinda EMS to the Clarinda Regional Health Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Highway traffic was detoured during the accident investigation.
The state patrol was assisted by the Page County Sheriff’s Office and the Clarinda Fire Department.
