CORALVILLE, IA : Interstate 80 blocked in Coralville due to crash on Thursday, 31st January 2019

One lane of Interstate 80 is blocked in Coralville due to several crashes.The Iowa Department of Transportation reports the crashes took place between the 12th Avenue overpass and the Coral Ridge Mall interchange.

Several vehicles appear to be involved and traffic is backed up in the area.

Officials said roads are completely snow covered and tow bans are in effect in Johnson County.
