Northfield, IL : Woman, 85, killed at Waukegan Road and Three Lakes Drive on Sunday, 21st October 2018

An 85-year-old woman was killed in a crash Sunday morning in Northfield.

Carla Noumberg was involved in the two-vehicle crash about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Waukegan Road and Three Lakes Drive, according to Northfield police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Noumberg, who lived in Northbrook, was taken to Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, where she died at 12:46 p.m., authorities said. An autopsy Monday found she died of multiple injuries in the crash and her death was ruled an accident.
