Paducah, KY : State police probe Massac collision on Sunday, March 26th 2017

Illinois State Police are investigating a Sunday morning crash in Massac County that sent several people to the hospital.

Police said the two-vehicle injury crash occurred at 7:46 a.m. at 7717 Unionville Road.

A silver 1997 Honda Civic, driven by Aaron Gipson, 25, of Paducah, was heading east on Unionville when it crossed into the westbound lane, police said. The Civic collided with a gray 2008 Dodge Caravan, driven by Russell Rhodes, 61, of Brookport.

Rhodes and his passenger, Deborah Rhodes, 61, of Brookport, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gipson also was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. His passenger, Joshua Sullivan, 26, of Metropolis, was taken to the hospital with a serious injury.
