Franklin County, OH : 62- year-old man killed in single-vehicle crash in Franklin County interstate 71 on Thursday November 26 2015
I-71 Northbound has reopened in southern Franklin County after a single-vehicle crash that killed a 62- year-old Franklin, Ohio man.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office reports it happened between US 62 and SR 665 just after 4 p.m. Deputies say the SUV driven by Virgil S. Pack, Jr. was traveling northbound on interstate 71, and lost control into the median. The vehicle rolled several times and Pack was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to Grant hospital where he later died.
The crash closed I-71 NB for more than 3 hours. Neither alcohol nor drugs are considered to be a factor and the crash remains under investigation.
