Albany, NY : Woman dead after car hits East Islip building, cops say on Friday, 7th October 2016

Police are investigating the circumstances involving a car crash Friday morning in which a car struck a building in East Islip and the driver died.

Kerri Becvar, 23, of East Islip, was driving south on Carleton Avenue at 8:42 a.m. when her 2002 Honda “left the roadway and struck the AmVets building,” just north of Wall Street, Suffolk County police said in a news release.
