Tualatin, OR : Tualatin man dies in motorcycle crash Friday night July 25th 2014.

A 53-year-old Tualatin man died in a high speed motorcycle crash on Interstate 5 near Salem Friday night.
Lt. Gregg Hastings, a spokesman for the Oregon State Police, said David Leary Schneller lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson while passing cars in the northbound lanes at speeds estimated at 90 to 95 mph. Schneller, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hastings said statistics from the Oregon Department of Transportation show motorcycle fatalities in Oregon are up 44 percent this year over the same period last year.
