Potter Township, PA : Bellefonte man dies in crash on state Route 144 on Wednesday, 21st November 2018

A Bellefonte man died as the result of a crash on state Route 144 Wednesday afternoon.State police said the crash occurred around noon as Cubby Bair, 77, of Bellefonte, was traveling north in Potter Township in a 2006 white Dodge Durango.

For unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted into the southbound lane, directly in front of a 2006 gray GMC truck driven by Gary Stidfole, 65, of Lewistown.

Bair was pronounced dead at the scene by the Centre County coroner.

Stidfole was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center to be treated for injuries of unknown severity. As of Thursday, Mount Nittany Medical Center reported he was no longer a patient at the facility.
