HOUSTON, TX : Crash involving school bus on Sunday, 3rd November 2024

A school bus from East Texas carrying high school cheerleaders was involved in a crash on I-69 near SH-288 Sunday.

The bus belonged to Lufkin ISD in East Texas. The district confirms 34 cheer students from Lufkin High School along with several adults were on the bus, which was headed to Rosenberg for a competition, when the crash occurred.
