Llano, CA : Pearblossom Highway closed near Llano after early morning 3-vehicle collision on Tuesday, August 19, 2014

Three vehicles collided today on Pearblossom (138) Highway east of Llano in unincorporated Los Angeles County, and two people were transported to hospitals from the crash site, authorities said. The collision occurred near 233rd Street East around 4:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log. Six patients were evaluated at the scene for possible injuries, the CHP reported. Two were transported for hospital treatment in unknown condition, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported. The highway was closed in both directions while an investigation was conducted, and it was reopened about 8:15 a.m., the CHP reported.
