LAS VEGAS, NV : Pedestrian critically injured after Las Vegas crash on Friday, December 9th 2016

Police say a 28-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a taxi outside Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Lt. Kris Burke says the woman was crossing in a crosswalk at about 1:30 a.m. Friday when the taxi hit her. Sgt. Robert Stauffer says the woman was hospitalized with internal, head and upper extremity injuries that are “extremely critical.”

Stauffer says he doesn’t believe speed was a factor in the crash. He says the cab driver had a green light, remained at the crash scene and will probably not face any charges.
