Westbury, NY : 84-year-old woman died in a three-car crash in Westbury on Thursday morning, December 3, 2015

Authorities say a three-car crash on Long Island has left an 84-year-old woman dead.

Newsday reports that the Nissan the woman was traveling in was hit by two cars as it tried to make a left turn in Westbury Thursday morning.

The woman was taken to Winthrop University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Authorities didn't immediately identify her.

Police say the drivers of the other vehicles were treated for minor injuries.
