Madison, IN : Ex-Courier employee dies in one-car wreck on Wednesday, March 1st 2017
A former Madison Courier employee died earlier this week following a single-vehicle crash in Scott County.
Christina “Chrissy” Hanna of Scottsburg died Wednesday morning after she apparently lost control of her vehicle in a series of S-curves, the Scott County Journal reported.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on State Road 56 near Frog Pond Road.
The vehicle rolled and caused Hanna, 32, to be ejected before becoming trapped under the vehicle. Hanna is not believed to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the Journal reported.
The Scott County coroner’s office pronounced Hanna dead at the scene.
Hanna was an advertising account representative until last month. She had been employed at The Madison Courier for a little more than a year.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Hanna is survived by a daughter, Cameryn Grace Hanna of Scottsburg; her mother, Toni Foist and her husband Scott of Scipio; her companion, Breyden Everitt of Scottsburg; and two brothers and five sisters.
