ALBUQUERQUE, NM : Pedestrian killed in crash on Monday, June 5, 2017

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department says one of its deputies struck and killed a pedestrian while on patrol over the weekend.
Deputy Johann Jareno says the crash occurred early Sunday morning while the deputy was on patrol.
Jareno says the deputy involved in the crash has been placed on standard administrative leave while an internal investigation is conducted.
No identities were released.
