DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO : Kennett man dies in hospital after crash on Saturday, 30th October 2016

A single-vehicle crash killed a Kennett man Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol states Clay E. Charlton, 84, was driving north on Dunklin County Road 725 in a 2007 Buick Park Avenue around 12:10 p.m.

Charlton's car went off the road to the left and struck a ditch.

An ambulance took him to a Kennett hospital to be treated and Charlton died there hours later.

He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP crash report.
