Houston , TX : One Woman killed in crash after They lost coontrol and their vehicles hit the other on Saturday , January 3rd 2015

Doctors had to deliver a baby from a mom after she was in a bad car crash, and now the 25-year-old is dead. The incident took place in Houston, Texas early Sat. morning. The then-pregnant Monica Ramirez was being chased down by her boyfriend in another car; both slammed into a building head-on.

In a Jan. 3 News Oxy report, Monica and her boyfriend, Anton Aleksandrov, 24, were speeding down the Beltway feeder when one of their vehicles hit the other. When they lost control of their vehicles, both smashed into an auto services facility. Ramirez was thrown from her car when both she and Aleksandrov hit the building in the Sam Houston Parkway area.

With all of the tragedy that unfolded, doctors had to deliver the baby after mom died from the crash. She died a few hours later at Memorial Hermann Hospital from traumatic brain injury. The newborn is at the neonatal intensive care unit.

Aleksandrov was treated and released from Memorial Hermann Hospital.

It's also revealed in the catastrophe that Ramirez got a protective order against Aleksandrov back in August, accusing him of "kicking, stomping and dragging her," records indicate. He was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to the accusations.

Ramirez wasn't wearing a seat belt when she crashed, and alcohol is believed to have played a part in the accident. Aleksandrov is said to be working with police and is being cooperative. At least doctors were able to deliver the baby after the mom's fatal crash. Sadly, the newborn will never know her.
