Jackson County, MS: Man dead after his pickup collides with sign in Jackson County on Sunday, July 26th 2015

One man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Jackson County.Mississippi Highway Patrol Cpl. B.J. Seibert said the accident happened Sunday at 6:54 p.m. on Interstate 10 at mile marker 49, which is a mile west of the Ocean Springs exit. The man who died in the accident is not yet identified.Seibert said the man was driving eastbound on I-10 when he left the road and the left side of his Chevy Colorado pickup collided with a sign in the median.Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus responded to the scene. She said the driver's family was being notified and his identity will be released Monday.
