Gardnerville, NV : One person dead after three vehicle crash in Gardnerville on Friday, November 27, 2015
Nevada Highway Patrol reported that one person died in a three vehicle crash on Friday, Nov. 27.
An official report says that troopers were dispatched to a crsah on SR-88 at the intersection of Mottsville Lane just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday. According to the report, the preliminary investigation shows that a red Ford Taurus driven by 22-year-old Holly Ducoing from Carson City was driving south on SR-88 approaching the intersection and ran a stop sign. Officials say that 64-year-old Janis Hill was driving east in a blue BMW on Waterloo Lane approaching SR-88, and the two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time.
The front of the Taurus hit the left of the BMW in the intersection, and both vehicles continued southeast, where they struck a Honda SUV driven by 64-year-old Robin Owens which was travelling north on SR-88, according to authorities.
Officials say that Hill succumbed to her injuries on the scene of the crash, Ducoing was transported to a local hospital by ambulance, and Owens was not injured.
Officials do not yet know if impairment was involved in this crash, and the crash is still under investigation
