San Antonio, TX : Police believe alcohol was involved in overnight head-on collision on Sunday, January, 7th 2018

Two people were hospitalized Sunday morning following a head-on collision on the far Northwest Side after police say a driver was traveling in the wrong direction.

A motorist was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Texas 151 about 3 a.m. when he struck an oncoming vehicle, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck was taken to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills in stable condition.

The wrong-way driver was taken to University Hospital in serious condition and faces possible felony drunk driving charges.
