Texas City, TX : 29-year-old woman killed in a car crash North in Texas City early Wednesday morning, June 15, 2016

A 29-year-old woman was killed, apparently in a car crash, early Wednesday morning in the 3100 block of Loop 197 North in Texas City.

Police found Texas City resident Traci Leeann Rodriguez dead in her overturned white Ford Crown Victoria, authorities said.

First responders were dispatched about 2 a.m. after reports of a major crash. When police arrived, the car was lying on its driver's side, police said. Rodriguez was the only person in the vehicle. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
