Ridgecrest, CA : Single-vehicle collision on North Brown Road in Inyokern on Monday, December, 11th 2017

One phone line pole, two “Do Not Enter” traffic signs and the front end of a Chevrolet Silverado was the collateral damage from a Tuesday night single-vehicle collision on North Brown Road in Inyokern.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the pickup truck was heading up Brown Road and said he blacked out. This caused the driver to cross the double yellow lines and knock down the phone pole, followed by taking out the two signs near the Highway 395 southbound offramp.

The driver was reported uninjured.

Ridgecrest Police Department, Kern County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the collision.
