Milwaukee police are searching for a driver believed to have caused an overnight car crash that left one of his passengers dead and two others seriously injured.
A 2004 GMC Envoy, an SUV, was traveling north on N. 29th St. about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a car traveling west on W. Locust St., according to Milwaukee police.

Milwaukee firefighters pulled two passengers from the SUV, and one of them was deceased, Deputy Fire Chief Terry Lintonen said.
The other person in the vehicle, along with a third individual, was taken by Fire Department paramedics to Froedtert Hospital, Lintonen said.
