Carlisle,PA : Driver injured in Fourth of July crash on July, Tuesday 4th 2017

A Mount Holly Springs man was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center following a single-vehicle crash on the Fourth of July.

Jeremy S. Bordell, 37, was traveling south in the 200 block of South Baltimore Avenue in Mount Holly Springs around 6:30 a.m. July 4 when he drove off the road and struck a utility pole, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Bordell was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the crash and struck his head against the windshield as a result of the collision, police said.

He was transported to Hershey Medical Center following the crash, according to police.

Bordell has not been charged, but police said they believe drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.

Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the front seat of Bordell’s vehicle, police said.
