Jacksonville, FL : A Gadsden man died in a morning single-vehicle accident at Alabama 204 On Sunday, July 17th, 2016

A Gadsden man died Sunday morning in a single-vehicle accident west of Jacksonville, according to State Troopers and the county coroner.

Kerry Allen Criswell was pronounced dead at 4:35 Sunday morning at the scene, just east of Seven Springs Road on Alabama 204, said Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown.

State Troopers in an emailed release said Criswell was driving his 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser on his way to work when, at around 3:20 a.m., his car left the road 5 miles west of Jacksonville and drove into a creek. Brown said

Criswell had been heading east.

“He overturned several times and landed in the culvert,” Brown said.
