Burlington, VT : Pedestrian struck by car on Shelburne Road on Thursday, February 23, 2017

South Burlington Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday in which a car struck a pedestrian on Shelburne Road at the Laurel Hill Drive intersection.

The pedestrian, whom police have not identified, was taken to University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment of injuries, according to a news release from police.

No criminal charges have been filed in the incident, although an investigation is underway, Sgt. Dave MacDonough said Friday morning.

The pedestrian crossed into traffic on Shelburne Road and was struck by a northbound vehicle, according to a preliminary investigation.
