Middle river , MD : 78 - Year old man was killed afer collided with Police car on Tuesday , December 9th 2014

A 78-year-old man has been killed in a car crash involving a police car.

A Baltimore County officer was responding to a call about a hit-and-run Tuesday when he collided with a car being driven by 78-year-old Thomas Degutis of Middle River. Degutis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The agency didn't immediately say who's expected to be at fault in the crash, which occurred in Middle River. The crash is under investigation.

The name of the officer was not released. He had minor injuries.
