Jefferson County, CO : One person killed in fiery Jefferson County crash on Saturday, 15th July 2023

One person was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County.

Around 10 a.m. deputies were called out to Shady Grove road at the Bluff Ridge Bridge on the report of a single vehicle crash. When deputies arrived on the scene the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. Lt. Jonie Money said an SUV had apparently struck the side of the bridge and left the roadway. The Shady Grove Fire Department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire.
