NASHVILLE, TN : Police investigating deadly crash near entrance for Nashville airport on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

At least one person was killed in a head-on collision on Donelson Pike on Tuesday morning.

Police officers at the scene said one of the vehicles crossed over the median and hit another car near the entrance to Nashville International Airport.

Several lanes remain shut down in the area as officers work to investigate the cause of the crash. The exit ramp from Interstate 40 is blocked.
