East Providence , RI : 83 - Years old woman was killed after Single Vehicle Rollover Crash near 250 Wampanoag Trail on late Wednesday morning , January 14th 2015

A vehicle overturned near 250 Wampanoag Trail late Wednesday morning, and police have released the name of the woman who died.

Police Lt. David Pacheco said the victim was Leslie Logan, 63, of East Providence. Investigators are trying to determine whether the accident was caused by a medical condition.

Lt. Christopher Francesconi said rescue workers were called to the single-car accident at 11:35 a.m. to free the occupant from the overturned vehicle. The person was declared dead at Rhode Island Hospital, he said. No one else was in the vehicle.

Logan was an elementary school teacher, who the East Providence School Department said taught for 35 years and retired in 2008.
