CHATTAROY, WA : Three-vehicle crash blocking lanes on Highway 2 on Friday, 5th January 2024

Washington State Patrol says a person suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries Friday morning in a multiple vehicle crash north of Spokane.

According to WSP Sgt. Greg Riddell, a pickup truck towing a trailer heading east pulled out into the center median of Highway 2, but the trailer remained in southbound lanes.

A southbound vehicle hit the trailer causing the truck to spin around and hit a third vehicle. The driver of the southbound vehicle was injured and taken to an area hospital.

No other injuries were reported. The pickup truck driver was cited for failing to yield.
