Paducah, KY : A 56-year-old Paducah man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, 24th March 2018

A 56-year-old Paducah man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night near the McCracken and Graves counties line.

The crash occurred at 9:53 p.m. in the 1900 block of Ky. 131, or Said Road, McCracken County deputies reported.

An investigation revealed Dale Thompson was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 north on Ky. 131 when the passenger side tires left the roadway and into the mud on the right shoulder, deputies said.

Deputies said the truck went down an embankment, collided with a tree and overturned, before coming to rest on the driver's side in a creek bed with standing water.

Thompson was taken to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
