Identity released of man killed in Joelton crash
The identity has been released of a man who was killed in a Joelton crash Friday night.
Jerelle Gardner, 26, died in an accident in the 7800 block of Whites Creek Pike at 8:20 p.m.
Police said Garnder was trying to pass another car over a double yellow line when he lost control and hit a van.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the van had minor injuries. Authorities said they were bucked up at the time of the crash.
Officials do not believe alcohol was involved in the accident.
