Royalton, VT :Police arrest fugitive after car crash in Royalton on Tuesday, November 18, 2014

A car crash led police to a fugitive allegedly hiding out in Royalton. Todd Swasey, 18, was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges. The South Royalton man is accused of stealing a car, then crashing and leaving it down an embankment on Mill Road. Royalton police say they found him hiding in a home on Safford Street. Swasey was arrested on an active warrant for missing a court appearance in a prior automobile theft case. He's also facing accusations in a third unrelated car theft.
