Eden, WI: 58-year-old Campbellsport injured in motorcycle crash on Sunday, August 2nd 2015

A 58-year-old Campbellsport man was seriously injured Sunday, Aug. 2, after the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a truck that ran a stop sign.The incident occurred at 10:04 a.m., Sunday, on County V and County F in Eden.Preliminary investigation shows a west-bound truck, operated by 31-year-old Wayne Gudex of Campbellsport, failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a southbound motorcycle driven by 58-year-old Campbellsport native Wayne Bauman.Bauman suffered serious injuries and was flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee by Flight for Life. He was not wearing a helmet.Gudex, the truck driver, was not injured.The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
