Helena, MT : A 21-year-old woman was driving the crash on Monday, October, 9th 2017

A 21-year-old woman who was driving the crashed vehicle was transported to a Billings hospital. She was in critical condition, police said.

The crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. Montana Avenue was closed at the 2900 block and intersecting side streets while the investigation was ongoing.

When officers arrived a passerby had stopped and was providing CPR to the woman, who was unconscious and having a hard time breathing.

A police department crash investigating unit was on scene. Sgt. Bret Becker said it appears the driver crashed into a parked car, pushing the car into several other vehicles.
