Mason City, IA : Moped driver hurt in a crash near the south entrance of Walmart on Thursday, November 10, 2016

A mo-ped driver police say collided with a car in Mason City late Thursday has been hospitalized.

Sadat Zenel, 27, Mason City, collided with a car about 10:25 p.m. on South Eisenhower Avenue near the south entrance of Walmart in Mason City.

Zenel was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

His condition wasn't available Friday

The driver of the car, Raul Torres Sanchez, 42, of Mason City, and the two passengers in his vehicles were not hurt.

Mason City police were still investigating the crash Friday morning.

Additional details of the crash have not been released.

Iowa State troopers, Cerro Gordo County sheriff's deputies and Mason City firefighters assisted at the scene.
