MARION COUNTY, FL : Ocala woman, 27, dies in crash with parked tractor-trailer on I-75 on Wednesday, 31st January 2024

A 27-year-old Ocala woman was killed Wednesday morning in a crash with a tractor-trailer that was parked in the median along I-75 in Marion County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 9:40 a.m. on I-75 north near State Road 326.The FHP said the woman was driving a car north in the left of lane of I-75, veered to the left for an unknown reason and struck the rear of the semitrailer, which was parked in the paved median because it had been involved in another crash.
