MANATEE, FL : State Road 70 reopens after fatal crash on Tuesday, 6th September 2016

The Florida Highway Patrol has reported at least one dead in a crash involving a tractor trailer early Tuesday in Myakka City. Troopers shut down part of East State Road 70 for a few hours due to a roadblock, but it has reopened.

At 4:11 a.m., deputies responded to the scene at East State Road 70 and Betts Road, where there was a complete roadblock.

All eastbound traffic was diverted at Verna Bethany Road and westbound traffic was diverted to Betts Road.
