RENSSELAER FALLS, NY : Deputies investigating motorcycle crash in Rensselaer Falls on Friday, July 7, 2017

St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a Friday motorcycle crash that resulted in a Depeyster woman being airlifted to a Vermont hospital.
At 12:35 p.m. at Route 812 and Backus Camp Road, Susan M. Matheson, 63, of 3954 County Route 10, was headed north on Route 812 when she failed to negotiate a curve and struck the guard rails.
Ms. Matheson was taken to the Ogdensburg International Airport by the Ogdensburg Rescue Squad and was airlifted to University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vt.
Heuvelton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad and state police assisted at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
