Orlando, FL : Tampa man killed in Lake County crash on February, Wednesday 28th 2018

A motorcyclist who died Wednesday when he crashed in Lake County near Four Corners has been identified as Jeremy Woodward, 35, of Tampa, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Woodward was going west on U.S. Highway 192 when he tried to exit onto southbound U.S. Highway 27. He lost control and hit a road sign, troopers said. It happened around 7:30 p.m.

He was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead on scene, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
