Canute, OK: Bicyclist from Florida Struck and Killed by Car in Oklahoma on Thursday, July 30th 2015

A bicyclist from Florida was killed and another was injured when they were struck by a car on Highway 152 in western Oklahoma.The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Thursday that 25-year-old Patrick Wanninkhof of Key Biscayne, Florida, was dead at the scene of the accident and 22-year-old Bridget Anderson of Port Orange, Florida, was hospitalized in Oklahoma City in stable condition.An OHP report says the two were westbound on the highway when they were struck by a westbound car. The report says the driver of the car said she was distracted by looking at her phone when she crashed into the bicyclists.
