Georgetown,KY : Kentucky woman killed in Opp crash on July, Saturday 15th 2017

A Georgetown, Kentucky woman has died from injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, three miles south of Opp.

According to information from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Karen Sue Ritchie, 46, was critically injured when the 2015 Toyota Tundra she was riding in was struck head on at 3:40 p.m. by a 2005 Nissan Altima driven by William Antonio Edwards, 21, of Opp. Ritchie was flown to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida where she was pronounced at 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
