Wolfeboro, N.H : Drivers critically injured in 2-car head-on crash in New Hampshire on Tuesday, July 5, 2016

Authorities say two people were critically injured in a head-on crash in New Hampshire.

Crews responded to the crash just before 1 p.m. Tuesday in Wolfeboro. Two heavily damaged vehicles were found with the drivers pinned in each car.

The victims were extricated by around 1:30 p.m. They were taken to Huggins Hospital.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify them.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
