Wichita, KS : Two killed in Oklahoma crash are from Hutchinson, McPherson early Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017

Two women were killed and two more people were hospitalized with injuries following a crash on their way back to Kansas from a concert in Oklahoma early Wednesday morning.

Wichita State University wrote in a news release that Laura Ratley of Hutchinson and Rebecca Fulcher of McPherson were killed in the car crash near Red Rock, Oklahoma. Fulcher, 21, was a Wichita State student, and Ratley, 20, had been a student. Also injured were 22-year-old Ryan Fulcher and 24-year-old Leah Marie Ratley.

The Ratleys’ father, Bob Ratley of Hutchinson, posted on Facebook that the group had been attending a concert by Panic! At the Disco in Oklahoma and were on their way back when the crash occurred. The band had a concert Tuesday night in Tulsa.

The university offered grief counseling Wednesday. Grief counseling will also be available from 10 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 5 p.m. today and 2 to 3 p.m. Friday in the Office of Student Involvement.
