Kaneohe, HI : Man, 18, hospitalized after H-3 motorcycle crash on Saturday, 7th September 2019

An 18-year-old man was taken to the hospital Saturday night after crashing his motorcycle on the H-3 Freeway in Kaneohe.

Honolulu police say the man was traveling east-bound at a high rate of speed about 8 p.m. and had just passed the Kamehameha Highway off ramp when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit the pavement. Police say the man was wearing a helmet.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services says an ambulance transported the man to a trauma hospital in serious condition.
