Woodruff, SC : One man died in a single car crash on Shaw Road on early Sunday morning August 24th 2014

The SC Highway Patrol is investigating a single car crash that claimed one life early Sunday morning. Trooper Gary Miller said the crash happened on Shaw Road, four miles north of the city of Woodruff, around 12:30 a.m. Coroner Rusty Clevenger Hunter Jake Peeler, 18, of Shaw Road, ran off the road,struck a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene. Peeler was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision, Clevenger said. Toxicology results are pending. Source : Woodruff man killed in single car crash
